Has your relationship changed w/ your parent since having children?

I know I for one appreciate even more all that my mom did and I'm learning that her parenting beliefs aren't so far off from mine. (Wonder why. lol And if they are slightly off, she's pretty good at accepting how we choose what works for our family.) But I hear so many people complain that their parents just don't understand what it's like to raise children now; and then many others have solidified their relationships.

What about you and your parents?

I can not believe how much my relationship with my Mom has changed since I had kids. We are closer now then we ever have been. Even my husband's relationship with his Mom has changed...they are closer also.
