Has anyone else had terrible sinus problems with no relief during pregnancy? What is/was the best remedy?
I had terrible sinuses before pregnancy and now they are just horrible. |

Try a NettiPot. You may purchase one from either Franck's or Bittings Pharmancies, the run about $20 or so. My allergist recommended one because I hate drugs, and it is important to avoid them during pregancy.
It takes a little getting used to a first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll ask yourself why didn't I do this before? I recommend that you attempt your first few tries in the shower to avoid a mess, just in case. |

Thanks so much latemom...I will let you know how it goes. I am constantly sniffling, it sure is aggravating.

You're very welcome. If I had my choice, I would prefer to be in charge of when my sinuses flush rather than them deciding for me.

My allergist recommended this years ago and it has never failed me.
Get some Alkalol (can get it at any pharmacy) and mix it in a 50/50 solution w/ saline. I keep mine in a nose squirt bottle -- by NeilMed I think. Drains everything out super quick -- just squrt it up the nose and the floodgates open....... Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |
