I think I just willed my baby to be a girl. After growing up w/ boys, teaching preschool w/ 16 4-year-old boys and 4 girls, and always babysitting all boys, I figured I wouldn't have a girl.
Most of these were true in our case. Horrible all-day sickness, carrying very, very high, age and month of conception were an odd number, baby heartbeat higher than 140, huge belly, etc.... And the most obvious sign was the very obvious ultrasound view! lol I had somebody tell me some test to do that I never did -- I forget exactly what it was but you peed in some chemical and if it fizzed, you were pregnant. My aunt told me she had done it and it was awful w/ the fizzing. Now I forget what you used. Anybody know what I'm talking about???? Anyway, here's a link to other signs of boys/girls: http://parenting.ivillage.com/pregnancy/pbabyprep/0,,j012,00.html Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) E-mail me: eguth@ocala.com |
