I know several people who use only this. I've grown up w/ everyone in my family using Estee Lauder so don't know any differently. If you use mineral makeup, why do you and what's so good about it?

the mineral makeup is very light, feels like you are not wearing anything, yet gives good coverage. they say you can even sleep in it, you are putting minerals on your skin instead of chemicals. i love bare minerals. you should check them out.
HI, I'm not sure how much bare minerals is but I've been selling Avon for a few months now and they have some great deals on mineral makeup...foundation, blush and eyeshadow. You can visit my website..youravon.com/kbland...to see this product and many more.
I just bought the Bare Minerals beginner kit at Salon Fifth Avenue near the Villages Target. I think they also have a salon in Ocala? They have a full makeup stand with many choices of the Bare Minerals makeup.
Just takes some practice and getting used to using powder instead of regular foundation. It is really nice.
I want to try mineral makeup. I ordered some from Avon but it hasn't arrived it. I hear alot of good things about it. I use CoverGirl foundation right now. It doesn't weigh my face down, but I would like to venture out with makeup. I'll let you ladies know what I think when I get it.

I tried Bare Minerals once and didn't think it covered very well. I wonder if I did something wrong. I probably need someone to show me how to use it. I just use CoverGirl now.
I have used mineral makeup for almost a year now, purchased at Cameo's Salon WinterWoods location; each time you make a purchase you get a discount.Plus, they help you pick out the color and show you how to use it. I use the foundation (lasts much longer than liquid foundations) and blush only (have had the same container since I started using it). Eye make up and lipstick I opt for cheaper versions. I am a devoted makeup full coverage kind of girl and still in my twenties. My skin tone has evened out, blemishes are a thing of the past (finally, but will cover exceptionally any breakouts), poors are smaller and it lasts all day but is very light. In fact, since I have started wearing it, I am more comfortable to go without makeup sometimes.
My reccommendation for application is a good lotion, like Clinique gel-based lotion (not their traditional oil base) from their 3 step. This helps the makeup set and last throughout the day and longer. Then using a good brush with circular motions over face and neck, you can play with how much or little you want to wear.
I also love Bare Minerals. I order my kits from QVC, especially good values in their larger kits and Today Special's. My makeup does not melt off anymore like it used to with other foundations and yes it feels very light. Also, less breakouts and does last longer even when in the pool. FYI Loreal makes a mineral powder that I use when I run out and it works well too.
Ive been using the physicians formula mineral make-up and I love it. I still make a mess cause I'm not quite a pro at it yet but give it time.....lol. since using it I havent had a single make-up related break out....w/ liquid or powder foudations by the end of the day my face is broken out. It's very nice in this heat because if your like me you forget about the makeup and wipe ur face anyway....its not so noticable with the minerals.....
ANother Bare Minerals fan here Sometimes I get my refills from Ebay..it is much cheaper that way. It is nice to know that there are other brands of mineral make up out there that work too
