OK, so my feet hurt by the end of the day of clinicals. Standing from 4ish when I get up until 3 when clinicals are over is a long time, lol, and we have to wear white shoes only until next semester (thank goodness!!) so nobody invested much in these shoes. Mine are New Balance but still not a really good one.
Anyway, I think I want to find one of those stores that has the machine to read where your pressure spots are when you stand so you can find a better shoe that way. KWIM?
Are there any in town? Any recs?
TIA!

I'd be interested to know to. My dad had just told me that way back when, they used to have a kind of x-ray (flouroscope) machine that the shoe stores would use to do something similar. Obviously, they must have something different now to do that, but I've never seen it in any store.

I know that Dr. Fakhoury's office has a machine that does that....he is a chiropractor on 17th Street. I think then they order orthodics....not special shoes, but I do not know that for sure.

I have no idea on price or anything, but I know he has the machine.
