Hello ladies,
My husband and I and our 2 boys are relocating to Ocala from Kansas City in August. My oldest son is 3 1/2 and will need to go to preschool. Could I get some suggestions for some good schools to look into? I'm afraid of getting down there and not being able to find a good school to get him into since we're moving so late in the summer. Most preschools up here are already full for the fall session. Thanks! I appreciate your help! Kari B. |

I have many, many friends who send their kids to Happy Hearts. It's a part-time preschool program at First Presbyterian Church.
Good luck with you move. Robyn |

My daughter is 4 and she goes to Kinderoo in the SW part of Ocala. I love it there. Its a daycare/preschool and its wonderful. The kids learn so much. It is much more than a "daycare". Before that she went to Grace Building Blocks in the SE part of Ocala. This was a part-time preschool with 1st and 2nd grade as well. I loved it there as well but went back to work and needed full-time care.

I'm a fan of Happy Hearts. My son is just finishing his first year there and I actually went there 20 some years ago.
http://www.happyheartsocala.org/handbook.htm the site hasn't been updated in a year or so, but you can get a good idea of how it's run Erin OcalaMom.com Moderator Mom to Cooper and Elizabeth |

I've heard rave reviews on St. Paul's School.
