A lot of toys from my generation are still around, I've been noticing.
My Little Pony, I swear I saw some Cabbage Patch Kids (I even went on a family trip once to their cottage in GA and got a new baby. I was so happy!!), Pound Puppies, etc....
What characters did you like that is still around today? Thought it might be fun if we all wax nostalgic....

I still have my Pound Puppies stuff, actually, somewhere at my mom's house. I also loved my double sleeping bag (red) that I got so I could have two at once.
And then Barbie is still around. And Strawberry Shortcake -- but did you read how Hallmark is re-doing her character for cards? And her pet is no longer w/ her!!

I loved Fraggle Rock but I guess that is gone? lol

I too took the trip to GA to the Cabbage Patch Hospital and still have ALL of my Cabbage Patches My mom and dad moved recently and it stirred up a lot of old stuff. We found my old, hand-made, Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. Ellie carries them around when she's at their house.

I really haven't pulled out very many of my old toys yet. The kids are still a little young. They play w/ some old play dishes that used to be mine.

I'm sure one day my daughter will dig into to my Cabbage Patches, Barbies and Care Bears.

My son enjoys playing w/ all of my Hubbies old JD tractors.

Oh yeah -- Raggedy Ann and Andy!

But shoot -- I don't let Jodi touch my old toys yet, lol. Not my treasured ones at least yet. I don't trust her not to put marker all over them, lol.

I just think it's cool that all those toys from our generation are still around, and sometimes even trendy, now!

I still have all my Pound Puppies and all my Cabbage Patch Dolls ( I think I had 4 or 5 dolls.). I have all my Barbie stuff. Sad thing is I sold all my Strawberry Shortcake (the original) stuff on Ebay (kicks self in rear..lol) but then again I didn't know that I was going to have a baby let alone have a girl baby!
