First I want to thank the readers of this site! I get more hits on Michael's website from this page than any other!

I KNEW OCALA WAS GREAT!!!

If you haven't gone to the site, PLEASE do it! Learn about Michael and what he is doing. He is not only representing Marion county, but he is only ONE of TWO young musicians in the state of Florida that will be representing the USA on the European tour this summer! (By the way ... there are only 75 musicians from across the US going to begin with! So, this really is a great acheivement.)

Michael had a recital this weekend at Victory Baptist Church off Hwy 301 in Summerfield. There wasn't a big turnout (it's a very small church) but he did raise $475 at the event. (Not too bad, huh?)

Also, the American Legion in Belleview has donated $500 to Michael. Thank you all!!

So you see Michael still has a long way to go to raise the funds for this trip. If there is anyway you can find it in your hearts to help him, please do it. You can visit his website and go to the donations/fundraisers page for all the details on what you can do to help.

If you can offer any other type of assistance please email either myself or Michael hiltz09@aol.com and let us know what you are thinking. We really need all the support we can get from this community of great people!

As always, we will keep you posted on how he is doing.

All the best,
Stacy
