It's prob. too late for Father's Day this year, but you could do this next year or a different occasion.
A friend told me about this site a couple of years ago and I have USED it! www.blurb.com Basically, you upload their program onto your computer and you can design, add pics, and add words to make an awesome photo book for anyone. You send it, online, to blurb when you're done and they publish it and send you as many books as you want (w/ a not so bad price). They have coffee table size, which is my favorite and larger ones, too. I've made one for all of the close members of our family kind of in my kids point of view. The first one I did was for Father's Day. "Our Daddy". I inserted all pictures of DH w/ the kids and wrote the book in a "sing-songy" rhyming style. It was a huge hit. I even saw tears! The kids still pull out all of their books and can see their pics w/ the people they love the most! Whenever I have made one for someone that doesn't live w/ us (ie. Grandpa...)I buy an extra copy for the kids to have here at home. This is also great for vacations. If you take a ton of pics on vacation...instead of just having a ton of pics laying around, just make one of these books and you'll be able to enjoy them forever! I'm working on one from a trip to TN right now Erin OcalaMom.com Moderator Mom to Cooper and Elizabeth |
