What are your plans to make the next couple of days go smoothly w/ your kids cooped up inside?

We are playing outside until the raindrops hit. Then we'll make homemade playdough. WHen it cools they can play for hours with it. Then I'll drag out the fingerpaints and paint with water coloring books. Then the boys will probably make a fort with the kitchen table and all my sheets/blankets. They like to play with flashlights, eat lunch, read books, play with action figures, etc in the fort. I also have brownie mix to make with them tonight for a treat. Beyond that, I'm not sure.

What is your playdough recipe? I don't remember mine being warm when I made it last time, but it's been a year and my brain is old.
Hoping it's even lighter here than first thought. My mom is in Brevard county, which is like a magnet for TS/H and saw patients this morning but then drove home early through the worst driving of her life, she said. Her pool had already flooded. She was just glad they still had power at that point, but I know there was a tornado somewhere in the county... Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |
