in my opinion, the US really screwed themselves when the allowed outside countries to manufacture their products. Does anyone know of anything that is made the the good old USA?? So it's cheaper, that's the problem quanity not quality.

Anything made in the USA? Was that the question?
There are some toys but they are hard to find. They're mainly the ones now at craft shows it seems or they're made by small manufacturers. It seems the frequently chosen alternative in the spirit of finding safer toys for a child has been to find toys made in Europe but even some of those toys (like Haba) are being made in China now. I think Plan Toys (made out of recycled rubberwood trees) are still not Made in China -- but not in USA, unfortunately. Some manufacturers (Melissa & Doug, for instance) have started making a few toys in the USA but it's definitely not the majority of them. Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |

There is a website for all things made in the USA only. You can go to Link and there is everything you can imagine. I try to buy things only made in the USA whenever possible, but it is getting harder, and harder.
