I personally think that Crocs look rather, well, ugly -- even though I know they're supposed to be super comfortable. (For the record, I still haven't tried them on. I think the Primas are cute but I don't have tiny feet so I don't think they'd be so cute on me. Wink )
I saw these today though: http://momfinds.com/archive-88/Crazy-for-Crocs-for-Kids-and-Moms/
and some of them are kinda cute! One of Jodi's little friends wears these bubblegum pink Mary Janes and they are super cute on her.

I know some people have definite opinions on Crocs -- what's yours?

I think they're cute ON KIDS!!! I like them b/c they're easy to get on and off, and since my son likes to take his shoes off every second that he can, it sure beats having to lace up tennis shoes 50 times a day! The only thing he doesn't like about them is that they get sand/rocks/playground multch in them easily and he hates that! But, for going to the pool, they're the next best thing to flip flops!

We are Crocs fans! I don't prefer to wear mine in public, b/c, well, they do look a little silly on big feet. I wear mine around the yard and my kids both wear their's all of the time. I just bought them each a new pair for the summer. My daughter, 19m, has been putting hers on by herself for months now. I agree w/ Katie though. Their feet definately don't stay clean when they wear them. But, their feet would get dirty in flip-flops, too and they don't stay on as well.

They are really ugly, but ... they are starting to make some that are cuter.
RobynI have some that look like Mary Janes. (In fact I'm wearing them right now).
My son loves his. Did you know you can put them in the dishwasher?

OK -- but don't your feet get all sweaty since they're so plasticy and enclosed? Or the opposite?

Just a word to the wise, have your kids wear other shoes when you are taking them anywhere near an escalator. They've been known to get caught in the dividing steps because the material is so soft, this can and has caused serious injury.

I read on their site that they are dishwasher safe. Isn't that crazy? The Mary Jane Crocs can get a little sweaty, but it's not bad. If you wear them with hose or knee-highs, you can avoid the sweat altogether.
They are really comfortable. They are kind of like undercover crocs. When I tell people they are Crocs, they don't believe me.

Cool! I never thought to put them in the dishwasher. I will try that. They are great just to wear around the yard. My kids like them.

I have tried it with my son's and they came out smelling like oranges (citrus scented detergent!).
