When did your LO start dance classes? Why did you decide to start at that age?

I started at 4 and I had been pestering my mom for months and months. I did dance through the end of high school and hope eventually J wants to dance, too.

OOOOO!!! I can't wait. E will be starting next year when she's 3. You should sign up Jodi w/ us! She will be going to the same studio that I grew up in.

I started at 3, too and danced thru the beginning of college! I can't wait to see her in all of those cute little costumes!

I'll admit that I have started playing around w/ teaching her some basics! She LOVES to dance around and seems to have a pretty good ear for music!

I hope she likes it as much as I did!

I actually took a jazz class recently in Gville and it about killed me. My brain thought that I was still 18 and my 30 yr. old body didn't agree. I couldn't walk for 3 days...seriously!

haha -- I was thinking the other day that probably just the 30-minute ballet or pointe class warm-ups would be enough. Sad.

Which studio?
Thank goodness she wil be ready by the time my torturous program is over so we will have time! THe neonatal NP program is mainly online (except clinicals obviously.) Score.

Jodi does dance around the house all the time.

I grew up at Mary Ellen's School of Dance.

Not sure what the studio in Gville was called.

They don't do competitions, right?

They do have a competition team now, I believe. One of my old dance friends heads it up. They didn't when I was there, tho.
