Smart aleck answer: Because people kept reminding me our dogs were not real children.
Real answer: I was ready. I always wanted to be a mom. Babysat kids since I was a kid, worked at a preschool teaching, etc.... Timing was pretty good so here she is. And I'm still loving every minute of it. She is running in the backyard in her new fav dress today and it is so much fun to run w/ her. Now I can't imagine my life without her in it. And BTW the dogs are still treated the same as before, lol. Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |
