First, please tell me my peanut is never going to be driving.
Once I get over that delusion, let me ask you this -- how do you impart good driving skills on your teen or tween? What empowering message can you give them to help keep them safe and buckled and not speeding?

I am so there right now! My son just turned 15, wants his learner's permit and I want to say WAIT! ...until you are at least 21!! No can do, unfortunately! At this point, I talk him through our drives from point A to point B, explaining the various traffic laws, what to look at for, why I slow down here, use my turn signal and so forth. Just preparing him the best I can, and setting good examples. I do know I'll be a wreck when he does get his license. Those that have gotten past this point, how do you deal with a new driver and what did you do to prepare? Any advise would be welcomed!
