5:30 pm - 7:30 pm For the past four years, hundreds of people have gathered on Ocala’s Historic Downtown Square to dance, sing, eat and celebrate one thing... adoption! With the overwhelming success of such an inspirational night, Children's Home Society of Florida is excited to once again announce the date for Celebrate Adoption Ocala! Join us Thursday November 13 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on the Historic Downtown Square. At this FREE family-friendly event, children and families will enjoy fun, food, magicians, storytellers and music. Throughout the evening, local community leaders will speak about adoption, and community members will be available to provide information adoption. We'd love to see you and your family at this one-of-a-kind event where the community comes together to recognize the power of adoption and family. Trish Caldwell, an Ocala native, has been a stay-at-home mom since her daughter, Makily, who has special needs, was born in 2004. Trish has a background in pediatric medical care and she loves working with children.
