Adoption is such a gift, both for a child and the new parents. I know a couple who have a beautiful young boy they adopted and it has been a great success story. Have you adopted or are you considering it? Are you working with an agency? How about international groups? What are some considerations? How about concerns? Let us hear from you.

My husband and I would love to adopt. We really haven't gotten deep into the research. We have 2 children ages 6 & 10 both boys. We know that we don't want infant(s). We would much rather have older children probably ages 4 and up. If you have any suggestions please let us know.

I recently facilitated a focus group with parents who had adopted through the Children's Home Society, and it was one of the most touching groups I've ever worked with. Their stories were heartwarming and so meaningful. You might look at their website for more information.
