Very cool! I think alot of people decide on a name after they find out the sex, or atleast have a girl name and a boy name picked out before they head to the hospital. I know that I'm a planner and don't like to wait till the last minute for anything!

I changed my daughter's name weekly while I was pregnant, when I thought Nya, I loved it and stuck with it. I looked it up, its Swahili for "purpose", came up with a more unique spelling, Nhyya, and thats who she is. I struggled with her middle and last names. I wanted her middle name to flow well with her first, my mom tought Noel, which I kept but changed to Noelle. I thought of giving her her dad's last name (Howell) but he wasn't there the whole pregnancy and has yet to be there for her, so I gave her my last name.(Gordon) Nhyya Noelle and Detra Janell (me) Gordon. I think our names sound great!!!

I preferred to name my baby before he/she will come in this world...So that I'm fully prepared to it...

We gave our child a name that no one in the family had. She was an individual and her name was going to be hers. We had a problem when my husbands father died. My husband was the 3rd, when his dad died all of my husbands records were erased because no one noticed "III" after the name. My social security was placed in my mothers account because we shared the same name, so I decided that our daughter would have a name that no one in our family ever had.

I picked out my oldess name by the time I was 3 months pregnant. Baby #2 had been named (both boy an girls names) before he was eeven conceived. Zachary would hve been a Madeleine Lousie is he had been a girl. Oh well.....

We knew w/ both of ours ahead of time.

Oh yeah we had Makily's name picked out a few months before she was born.

We named our child Last.

Had both kids named before they were born.
