And score! My name is back on the list, lol.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24555714/ Does your child have one of the popular names? Or did you purposefully avoid those? I had Jodi McKenzie picked out since I was about 12 and part of why I like it now is b/c Jodi is so not popular. Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |

We tend to stray away from really common/popular names. I remember being in school with lots of Jessica's, Matt's and Lindsay's.

We really liked Cooper b/c it wasn't so popular...Elizabeth is my middle name and I have always loved it...I had to have an Elizabeth! (It's definately popular!)
Jennifer was super popular when I was growing up. Erin OcalaMom.com Moderator Mom to Cooper and Elizabeth |

I actually tried to avoid the popular names! I decided early in my pregnancy to name my daughter Ava. I started getting blankets and clothes embroidered and ordering things with her name. The farther along I got the more I began hearing Ava; it was too late by then. But I did give her my middle name, Lynne.

In our place I can say Mary is popular...Most of my classmates before has a name Mary or in their middle name there is Mary like Mary, Mary Jane, Mary Anne...I can say that in my time Mary name is like a virus spreading in our place...lol
