Hi there all Mommies! I am not sure where to post my 'newness'.. So I though introduction would work lol! I just found your site and registered today. I am a married, 31 yr old mommy of Lauren, who is 16 mths old. I am desperate to meet mommies of other little children her age. I am a stay at home mom and I feel she isnt getting the social skills needed. She isnt talking yet, other than momma and dada. Are there any play groups arranged for the 0-2 yr or so range? I really look forward to hearing from you all!!! Jennifer

Welcome, Jennifer.
Hope you can find a playgroup. Smiler There are a variety out there aside from people here depending on your interests. MOPs, LLL, the Meet-up group w/ Skyviking on here, etc....

As for talking -- I think some kids just take their own timetable. I have a friend whose child is months older than my daughter and my daughter spoke months before him.
