Hi Everyone! I'm Jenn and I'm a mom to my 7-year old (almost 8), Christopher. My husband, son, and I moved here from Connecticut a little over 8 years ago and I love it here. Right now, I'm working full-time as an admin assistant, but hopefully, I can find a part-time position(mother's hours) soon. I love it here because there is so much more to offer for my family than what was in Connecticut - education and entertainment wise. I am very active in the PTA, a local women's club, and starting to find some interests/groups at my church. I'm a avid reader (when I have time) and my favorite author is Nora Roberts. My son is currently enrolled in karate and absolutely loves it.
He's currently attending Soo Bak Do Academy. Its on Maricamp Road in the same shopping plaza that Church at the Springs is in. I'm not sure what age they start, but you can always give the instructor a call at 236-1111. I like her because she isn't that rough and gruff type of instructor and she specifically works with the children dependent on what you reasons are for bringing your child there (i.e., self defense, confidence, behavior concerns, etc).
