Hello to all of the Ocala Mom's!! I was very excited to see this link today so here I am...
My name is Heather and I have 2 girls- Kendall 6 (Kindergarten) Abbey 3 1/2 (as she says) We moved to Ocala coming up on 3 years ago and have really enjoyed this area of Florida. Both hubby and I are natives to Florida and we have lived in numerous parts of the state. We met at FSU  - I know... there seem to be so many gator fans in Ocala!!I am currently working full time in outside sales but I do have a good bit of flexibilty with my days. I did stay-at-home for 3 years with the girls. Since, I have been on both sides work/home I still can't figure out where I fit in- maybe the "perfect part-time" job !? haha.. not sure there is one. Either way, we all know it does get crazy trying to balance work/home in-between the activities, school, homework and of course FUN!! Glad your here! Go Gators!  haha Just kidding. We moved here about 3 years ago, too. We love the area! My husband grew up in Orlando and graduated from Winter Park High school and UF. I'm from Oklahoma (GO Sooners!) |

Hi there! I am also new to this board I just introduced myself so you can see but we both have just girls and around same ages! Where in Ocala do you live? Im originally from Miami so Im a UM fan and work for UM from home HA HA...Nice to see u here!

I love Ocala as well- beautiful area, offering the family the feeling of a small town but yet big enough the lots to do an hour in any direction.I grew up in Miami too!! I went to Sunset High School and while that is "home" shortly after graduating FSU I moved around for my job and was able to experience many areas in FL. (lived in Orlando, North Tampa, Clearwater and New Port Richey). I really can't imagine living outside of Florida. We live in the SE section of Ocala, frequent the YMCA and enjoy getting the girls outside as much as possible !! I too look forward to talking and learning from everyone on the board!! GO NOLES !!!
