I have been on here a few times and never introduced myself. OOPS!!

My name is Laura and I have two children. Isabel is four and Flynn is two. We have been living in the area for almost six years now.

I organize the Ocala Stay at Home Moms Group on Meetup.com. I have been staying at home with my children since they were born. It is great being at home with them and seeing them grow up.

This site is awesome. I like all the forums and keeping up with what is going on in Ocala.

I have lived in several different places before Ocala. Delaware, West Virginia, Michigan, Maryland, and Ireland. The best part about Ocala is all the horses!! I love horses.

Hope to chat with everyone.

If you are interested in a Moms group that has fun with the kids check us out at: www.sahm.meetup.com/13/. Smiler We love having new active members. Most of the children in our group are aged infant to six. We also have a book club monthly and Moms Night Out.

Take care!

Hello, mommies night out, yeah that sounds fun. I would love to join your group, but I try to conserve on gas these days, maybe down the road.
Warmly,
Melinda

I know what you mean about gas prices! It has been hurting everyone. Attendance is down so much because of the expense of food and gas! Join anytime and just go to whatever you want.

Cheers! Smiler

Hi skyviking!
Welcome! Thanks for posting an intro. Smiler

We love the horses, too, and part of what sold us on our house is the horse farm behind us. BUT we didn't realize that we'd have unwanted visitors plaguing our house (the mice. Ugh! We're in a war w/ them and I think we're losing. lol)

The best solution to mice is a cat or Jack Russell Terriers. My terriers kill anything that comes near my house. I call them Jack Russell Terrorists! LOL!

My cockers are oblivious to them. Finally, the past two weeks, one of them notices and barks when he sees one loose. Roll Eyes
I've thought of a cat -- I'm very allergic to them but I have been contemplating if it's worth it. Smiler
