Good Evening Ladies, This is a great site...and about time..I love all of the helpful stuff about just about anything.
I have lived in ocala about all my life, married almost twenty years with four children and four grandchildren (by two step sons). I am a nanny (actually part of the family) for the most wonderful family and next to my own kids these girls are the best, with personalities that will keep you in stiches and give you a few grey hairs at times.
To add to a previous conversation I saw; I would also like to add my Opinion about pre-schools....Happy Hearts is TOPS.....MissyA.

Welcome, Missy! It's great to have such an experienced mom (and grandmom) on here!
So, since I may be looking into getting a nanny for a couple of days a week if I start grad school soon, what are some tips you might have on how to really treat that nanny well? I know how hard it is to find great ones (and am glad I don't live in NYC or other big cities where families try to lure away nannies w/ even better benefits, lol) so......
I was thinking it might be nice to even prepare dinners ahead of time and send a meal home some nights for her family? Yes, no?

Thank you for the kind words Mrs. Elizabeth, My first and formost advise is to do a background check on anybody you are thinking of asking to trust your darlings with. I guess my main (tip) on how to treat your nanny is to treat them like part of the family..Be honest with them and listen when they need an ear. As far as the meal home I guess that you would be able to answer more after getting to know your Nanny.
Again I just want to say how much I love this site....Great Job
