Hi there all Mommies! I am not sure where to post my 'newness'.. So I though introduction would work lol! I just found your site and registered today. I am a married, 31 yr old mommy of Lauren, who is 16 mths old. I am desperate to meet mommies of other little children her age. I am a stay at home mom and I feel she isnt getting the social skills needed. She isnt talking yet, other than momma and dada. Are there any play groups arranged for the 0-2 yr or so range? I really look forward to hearing from you all!!! Jennifer

Hi Jennifer Smiler We're glad you found our site. If you click on "New" (next to the icon of a folder) and click "discussion", you can repost this as your own thread and may get more responses that way.

Also after you type what you want to say...under the dialog box there is a flag that says "Notifications:Off". Click on the flag and it will allow you to turn your notifications on and then if someone responds, you'll get an automatic email saying that someone has responded!

Good luck finding a playgroup for your little one. Maybe if you can make our next Mom's Night Out, you can make some connections that way!

Hello-
I am Starr I am a newly-single parent of 4 ranging in ages from 14-7. I lived in Ocala some years ago but moved when I met my ex-husband. I have been away for about 12 years and find that now, I don't really know anyone. I am interested in finding a yoga class if anyone knows of one in the area that is not expensive. I don't want to join a gym in order to take it. Thanks love the site.

Hi emmyrialan,
Welcome to Ocala!
There is only one LLL chapter here so it is easy to find information on. Smiler

There also is a toddler meeting but that stuff isn't online. If you call or e-mail Leah or Amy they can give you the updated info. Smiler

HI!

I hope this winds up in the right place. I am new to Ocala. I moved here from West Palm Beach. This is my first time away from home. I have three little boys (two of my own, one belongs to my fiance).

I was hoping to make some new friends and find out more about Ocala (i.e. shopping, fun places to go, etc.)

Thanks!

Cathy

Thank you so much. I hate to sound like a moron, but where should I look for responses in the new thread?

Thanks!

In the toolbar that has "Go, New, Find, Notify....(w/ the little red flag")

Click on notify and then choose which option you would like...it should then say Notifications:On.

Then it will send a notification to your email to let you know there has been a reply post.

You can do this with any post you post, read, or respond to.

Hope this helps.

You can find the new thread when you select the introduce yourself forum. You'll see a post that says Riviera52's intro.
Responses will show up underneath it in a list like on here. Smiler
To start a new thread, you can select new discussion, or to respond to one in progress just select reply or use the folder with quotation marks to quote like I did here. Smiler
