Sometimes it just seems to unfair...but the irony is, that the ones that are the sickest seem to have the most spunk and happiness for life. Bless her little heart! I wish there was something they could do for her.

Kids with special needs like her REALLY are a blessing. I believe that God gets them a little "extra" in order to get through the harder times they are forced to face.
Makily is VERY fiesty and has been a fighter literally since birth. I remember the night she was born, she was almost completely limp and was barely breathing but she STILL was able to yank off the EKG leads and fight when they were trying to get her intubated. Trish Caldwell, an Ocala native, has been a stay-at-home mom since her daughter, Makily, who has special needs, was born in 2004. Trish has a background in pediatric medical care and she loves working with children.
