Jodi had her first haircut today. She didn't even necessarily need it but was starting to sport a mullety rat tail looking thing and I didn't want to be the one to cut it. (And she has more hair then I did at her age so at least we're improving, lol.)
She has known my hairdresser her entire life and she was so proud to climb up in the little chair, put on the cape and eat a lollipop. She has bangs and now a little bob! It's so cute. My hairdresser even used a blow dryer and a little round brush at the end and Jodi just beamed thinking she was so grown up!

How old was your LO when they got his or her first hair cut?

My daughter was 5 when she cut her own hair!!! so needless to say that's when she had her 1st haricut, we had to find someone to "fix" it. she's 8 now & hates, I mean hates to take care of it. I like to blow it dry, braid it at night use hairspray to fluff it, but she won't have ANY part of it. She says it looks "fine!"

My daughter is 3 1/2 and needless to say she still has the hair of a boy. So we may not even have to cut her hair til she is about 20.

We've trimmed E's bangs a few times already, but she just got some cut off the back for the first time last week. It was starting to look a little mullety (great word, btw Elizabeth!) too. I hated to cut the back off, but it did look a little silly! (she's 2)

Cooper wasn't even 1 yet.

hunniebear...

PS..I just noticed you're in Citra. (I don't think I've noticed before, lol) I am too. Glad to know someone else lives out in the boonies with me! My friends all tease me about Dollar General being my "MALL"! I don't know how long you've lived in Citra, but I'm just glad we have somewhere, finally, to run and grab something if we need it!
