Just read a great idea and thought I'd share it.

Someone suggested laying out 5 pennies next to your child's bed when they go to bed at night. Every time they get out of bed, they lose a penny. In the morning the child puts the pennies left in a cup. When the cup is full, the child gets to go to the dollar store and pick out a toy.

Obviously a very small cup would work the best. Smiler

Sounds like a fun idea for the child. I would be afraid of it going up the nose down or down the throat. You just never know what children will do when bored. I thought putting things in odd places ends at a certain age... then I heard a Mom talking about her daughter putting gum in her ears the other day at age 5. Oh my they always keep us on our toes!!!

Hmmmm...good point! I guess you could put the money and cup in a spot in the kitchen or somewhere that is a bit more out of reach. Smiler
