We have spent a lot of time in the car lately w/ going to school for me. We spent the first 6 weeks listening to the same song on the same Laurie Berkner CD over and over. I never want to hear Muhalo again.
Then on to a camp CD I have that she likes. I tried the new Barenaked Ladies kid CD and she is OK w/ it -- likes 7 ate 9 but this CD by Elizabeth Mitchell (we have the You are my Sunshine one) is now the cool one -- especially Ladybug Picnic and Hey Bo Diddley. http://www.youaremyflower.org/home.html It is very soothing -- more soothing than the Martha Stewart lullaby that she listened to for 6 mos (I know -- Martha Stewart lullaby but it really was surprisingly a nice CD -- http://www.amazon.com/Martha-Stewart-Baby-Various-Artis...d=1218495500&sr=1-8) This one is just so relaxing, even to me -- it's her voice I think. What is your fav (or your kid's fav) CD to listen to? Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |

We check out a new cd every time we visit the public library (which is about every 2 weeks). I have a large collection from my teaching pre-k days. THe kids love Anna Moo, Jack Hartman, Dr Jean, Greg and Steve, etc.

I remember Anna Moo from my Alachua County days but don't have a CD of hers for DD to listen to!
Curious George and Dan Zanes (right? too tired to go check the spelling, lol) are other hits. Will have to check out the ones you mentioned! Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |
