Against our efforts, our daughter is a thumbsucker. It isn't "chronic". She only does it when she's sleeping or falling asleep.
Anyone have any advice as to when and how to get her to quit. She's almost 2 and it doesn't bother me that she still does, but I'm assuming they'll be some point at which she looks a little old to do it. Did your child grow out of it on their own or did you have to work at it? Erin OcalaMom.com Moderator Mom to Cooper and Elizabeth |

Jodi has pretty much outgrown it in the past couple of months and she's 2 and 3 mos.

Hello all. I actually have a three year old daughter and she likes to suck her pointing finger. I do not know how to get her to stop but she does it when she is tired and when she is sleeping. I am afraid this will mess her teeth up. Any suggestions?
