What is/was your toddler's fav things to eat? They can be so finicky about eating sometimes at that age!
J is on a hummus kick lately. That and her permanent watermelon, oatmeal and spaghetti love. Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |

My 2 y/o could eat bananas everyday, allday. Everytime he goes near the kitchen you hear "Nana...Nana" I think I might need a banana tree in the back yard

Haha -- I've also seriously considered getting one for our backyard.

My now 4 year old loved bananas and yogurt when she was younger...still does actually! Also, peanut butter crackers.

I wish my 2 yr old liked the healthy stuff your kiddos seem to crave. My boy likes hot dogs every day, YUCK! He eats a 1/2 waffle and piece of bacon every morning. The only fruit he'll eat is banana and not much of it. He loves chocolate milk and that's about it.

My kids love apples, grapes and bananas. Fruit snacks, popcorn, pretzels, yogurt. Those are just snacks tho.
My 2 yr. old is going thru a picky phase right now. She's not eatting much of anything. She also has a pretty bad cold which is prob. influencing her hunger. Normally, she loves mac and cheese and fruit. Green beans, frozen peas, lima beans, and corn are the only veggies I get down her easily. I made lasagna, green beans, peaches and garlic bread last night and she ate some of everything, but the lasagna. My 4 yr. old will eat just about anything you put in front of him. We have a "you at least have to try it" rule for him. She's not quite old enough to understand yet. Erin OcalaMom.com Moderator Mom to Cooper and Elizabeth |
