I took my daughter last summer to mommy and me swimming classes at cfcc. It's a little hard the first few lessons, but my daughter absolutely loved them. It's not meant to teach your babies how to swim, but how to get them comfortable in the water. I can't remember the instructors name, but he was amazing. Plus you can have your partner or grandparents come too. It was a lot of fun and a good bonding experience.

Thank you for the responses. Both were helpful. I will look into Balcony and check into cfcc swimming. Thanks again.

I did look into Balcony - but they start at age 2 according to website. I also looked into Palamino Kids Gym. It sounds great - but I have to wait until my son is 3 months old. Not much longer he just turned 2 months. I am interested in MRMC's mom support group - Maybe I can get baby and myself going.
What great info you all gave. THanks.

Anyone know how late the swimming places, like Perry's, goes through the summer? i.e. I have classes for 5 mroe weeks and we can't start before then, but maybe in the early fall we could? Or do they stop when school goes back?
Or I could just not be lazy and call and ask. Smiler

I know last year Perry's swim school did have classes running in September it was just too hectic for my kids to keep going with the start of the new school year. (By the way Perry's swim school was great!)
