My 4 yr. old is entering into the realm of realizing that the things that he says can effect/manipulate those around him. I haven't heard "I hate you", but "you're not my friend" has escaped his lips before.
I know it is a part of growing up; and that as he is hearing these things from his peers, he will experiment with them at home. What is the best way that you know of to react to these comments? Erin OcalaMom.com Moderator Mom to Cooper and Elizabeth |
