Due to trooical storm Fay, we got the "ALERT Now" message tonight that the superintendent cancelled school for both days. Anybody who had Kindergarten stagger-start for either day, their student will then attend class on Thursday.

Just as we got 'em back to school.... Roll Eyes

So, just to make sure, my son starts kindergarten tomorrow at Oakcrest Elementary School....this means that he is not having classes until Thursday. That will be his starting day, right?

Yes, he'll start on Thursday. My nephew was supposed to start on Tuesday too, and he's really disappointed that he has to wait two more days.

From an OSB story:

Superintendent of Schools Jim Yancey said this morning that students will have to go to school on Wednesday, Nov. 26, the day before Thanksgiving, and Friday, Dec. 19, the day after school was to end for Christmas break, as makeup days.
