Well, DD is way too young to remember on her own, and I'm lucky if DH remembers.... (OK, in all fairness he does get gifts but I just want a card.)

Absolutely yes. We, as wives, don't hesitate to make sure that they have presents on Father's Day, do we?

Absolutely!!! Or atleast help the younger kiddos make something for mom.

I agree, but I run into a lot of dads who bristle at the idea of honoring their wives on Mother's Day. In my family, you honor all of the special mother's in your life. My mother and father even send me a Mother's Day card since I'm a mother, too.

My mom sends me a mother's day card, too. (And this year I get to share it w/ my bday again!)

DH made the mistake of commenting on DD's bday that why did it matter so much to me since it was her bday and not mine......I think we cleared that up. My mom always gives her mom some flowers on her birthday.

It basically the only day during the year we get special recognition on the good job we do as mommies. I'll take whatever I can get
