In an effort to get to know everyone better I thought this would be a fun thread! Don't be afraid to "push the envelope" on this one....that's what makes it more fun!

I will start off with my "10 things".

1. At age 31 I STILL watch "Saved by the bell" re-runs. It's the corniest show EVER (especially the episode where Jessie gets hooked on *gasp* CAFFEINE PILLS! OH THE HORROR!

2. I was accidentally half naked on stage once. An embarrassing moment that Trishtwo was there to experience with me.

3. I get great joy out of washing all of foster baby's bottles, putting the drop ins in them, putting them together by color code and then gazing at the organization of it all in my cabinet. I am IN NO WAY a clean freak or that organized...this is just one of my weird quirks.

4. I am shamelessly nosey.

5. I was born at the same hospital Makily was born at.

6. My parents are still married and have been for more than 30 years.

7. If I accidentally answer the phone when a telemarketer calls, I tell them I am not home.

8. I walked through a drive through once. My friend and I made noises like a car to try and trick the guy at the window....it didnt work (I was 20 at the time so I plead stupidity on this one).

9. I am a HORRIBLE klutz but was a dancer in high school.

10. I once told the Head of Pediatric Anesthesiology at a large Children's Hospital that I would "speak slower and use smaller words so she could understand me" without even thinking twice about it. In fact I didn't even realize I had said it until my dad was laughing about it later. In my defense this was in the height of my PPD, Makily was incredibly sick and they were about to make YET ANOTHER mistake with her.

1. I hate, hate, hate feet. I don't care if they are neatly manicured, crusty with corns and bunions, or just average feet, I think they are probably one of the grossest parts of the human body.

2. I have an unhealthy obsession with lip balm. I love to collect smelly and flavored lip balms. Even if I have 12 tubes in my purse, if I see it at the store, I must buy one.

3. I had a miscarriage back in 2005. If I had carried that baby to term, he or she would be 3 years old this month.

4. Some people eat, exercise, or smoke when they are anxious. Not me, I poop. Seriously, freak me out, and I'll be sick in the bathroom for hours.

5. My husband is the Principal at an alternative school.

6. When I was 7, I played Molly in Annie at the Ocala Civic Theater.

7. Patyrish is my younger sister (she is 17 months younger than me). When we were kids, my mother used to dress us alike and everyone was convinced we were twins.

8. I don't like people to touch my food. I can't eat it if you touch it. Not sure why it bothers me so bad, either.

9. I used to LOVE Superman--I thought he was hot. (Christopher Reeve's Superman). I wanted to marry him when I grew up. I like to tease my hubby that I married him because he had the same Superman curl in the middle of his forehead. LOL

10. I met my hubby on the internet. We actually met through Love@AOL.com. We met (on-line) in Sept. 1999, started dating in Oct., he bought my engagement ring in Nov., we got engaged in Dec., and married the following May. We've been happily married for 8 1/2 years now.

I dont know if i can list 10 things but ill try...

1. I love children, the more the merrier, I do feel I was put on earth to be a mommy.

2. Ive lived in florida most of my life, i lived in Mass for 1 year at age 16 and spent 2 years in texas as an adult.

3. I was previously married, married at 19 for the wrong reasons divorced at 23.

4. I met my new husband on the internet, started dating Sept of 2006, engaged New years eve 2006, was suppose to get married Sept 2007 postponed to Oct 25th 2008.

5. I started leaking breastmilk in the middle of class.

6. I depise my birthparents, my mother is a drunk who ALWAYS puts me down because shes miserable and my father told me at age 10 he wants NOTHING to do with me ever and even though ive tried he refuses to accept me.

7. I consider my late step-dad whom my mother married when i was 16 my DAD

8. My husband is my best friend, my soulmate, my everything and i cannot imagine life without him.

9. I want to go back to college and get my degree in office management or business management.

10. I want to meet other mothers in ocala and make friends whom I can "hang" out with, go to the park with the kids, stuff like that!

This is going to be a hard one:
1. I absolutely love what I do for a living even though it can be stressful at times.

2. I told myself if I did not have a baby by the time I was 30, that I would not have one at all. I got pregnant at 28-kind of a surprise.

3. I attend church every Sunday faithfully.

4. I had a brother-in-law who was a police officer and was killed in the line of duty in 2004.(2 days after I conceived)

5. I have lived in Arkansas, Germany, Oklahoma, Georgia, Lousiana, and Florida.

6. I was the first in my family to receive a college degree. Now both of my sisters also have degrees.

7. I love the Florida Gators!!!! My grandmother is the one who started me into them when I was about 8.

8. I love to scrapbook and do it once a week with friends.

9. I have never been married. I actually love being single and raising my daughter on my own.

10. My daughter was born with ectodermal dysplasia.

Gonna give it a try 1) was born & raised in NJ, moved to fla in 1991, it was our "honeymoon" #2) I had a crush on my husband long before he knew it. #3) I didn't know his name on our 1st date, until his mom called looking for him because he didn't come home #4) My 1st job was dunkin doughnuts, was too young to earn wages so they paid me in donuts. #5) My husband would come in when I worked at Haagen Daz just to see me, But we were both too shy to talk. #6)IMy biological clock did tick. #7) We've been married for 18 years been together for 20. #8)My husband is just like my dad was. My dad was AWESOME. #9) I love to hear the laughter of my kids, They keep me young!!! #10) Our family is just like my family was growing up. History is repeating!!!

I dont post often but this seems like fun...
1. I am very shy
2. I have three kids, one is 13, one is 12 and one is 10
3. My oldest was born 3 1/2 premature and weighed 1 pound, the doctors said she wouldnt survive but she did and is wonderful, in all honors classes at Ft King Middle school
4. I also hate feet, I always wear tennis shoes and even wear my socks to bed...
5. I grew up in many different foster homes and would like to be a foster parent one day
6. I would like to meet other moms with teenagers
7. I love to write poetry
8. I read Ocala Moms every day faithfully
9. I attend Blessed Trinity church and go to Mass every week
10. I have two very spoiled dogs who think they are human

1. When I was a flight attendant I would take advantage of the travel benefits to the max. I once flew to Amsterdam to see U2 in concert. When in New Delhi, India I got in at midnight and the next day drove 4 hours to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. Came back at 5pm and then flew all night back to Amsterdam.
2. I am obsessesed with horses. I love to be around them even just to hear them munching hay.
3.I quit high school and got my G.E.D. and then later got my history degree. Everyone always just assumed I would be a high school dropout.
4.I like those Disney Princesses as much as my daughter. My favorite has always been Sleeping Beauty.
5.I love to go to Medieval Festivals. Knights are so cool!
6.I like archeology. In college I worked on a few archeology digs which were mostly Civil War sites. I still would like to do more.
7.I am curious about other people and always wonder what makes people the way they are?
8.Once when I was a kid I got bumped by a shark swimming in the Delaware Bay. Sharks still scare and fascinate me to this day.
9.When I was in Kona, Hawaii I volunteered for the Ironman Triathlon. I gave out sponges to all the bikers.
10.I love music, music, music!! Will travel far to see a good band.

Here goes........

1) I'm 24, married with 16 month old baby and feel sooooooooooooooo O L D!!!

2) My brother is a US Marine and is deploying to Afganistan in 8 months

3) I hate my job, wish I could work for home, and would do almost anything to do so!

4) My closest friend is my mom, I HATED her when I lived at home but now we are best friends.

5) Am broke 80% of the time but wouldn't give my life up to be rich and successful.

6) Married to a wonderful man, who after 6 years, and a baby still thinks I am hot!!

7) Would love to travel the world, but I hate leaving home!

8) Still love to make beaded jewelry, even though two craft shows have been complete failures.

9) So funny that Debs! is this way too, but if you touch my food, I cannot bring myself to eat it. Even if my husband grabs a handful of chips for me, nope I have to get my own!!

10) Am excited to see other people's ten things!!

Ok I am going to try here goes.

3) For my 10 year wedding anni. my husband took me on a cruise and I was scared now I wish I could go all the time.
4) I love sunsets and taking the kids to the beach.
5) I was a stay at home mom for 7 years now I am a legal secretary and miss my boys.
6) My Grandmother was my rock and I lost her to Lung Cancer in 07 on Easter, I still cry at night sometimes because we talked all the time and me and my mom took care of her the last 4mnths she was with us god I miss her.
7)My Fav holiday is Christmas.
8)I love to watch Nascar and eat Chicken Wings.
9)I love my dogs and cats they are like my kids two cocker spaniels and a cat I adopted
10)My Bestfriend has been my bestfriend for 15 years.

1. I've been skydiving...twice
2. I'm an only child

4. I love to cook, but hate doing the dishes
5. I love frogs (the colorful rainforest type) - started with Kermit when I was a kid
6. I'm afraid of spiders
7. I am a cheesecake addict - plain cheesecake from Outback is best
8. I enjoy watching the programs my kids watch...especially Max & Ruby, Yo Gabba Gabba, and Wow Wow Wubbzy
9. I am a stay-at-home mom and I hope I don't ever have to go back to work
10. I love my kids more then anything in this world

1. I am a Florida native but I absolutely HATE the Florida Gators.
2. I got married at 18 which most people said was too young but I am still married to my one and only husband 22 1/2 years later.
3. I have a 21 year old son and 16 year old daughter
4. My son joined the Army and is in bootcamp
5. I home school my daughter and we both absolutely enjoy it.
6. I work from home as a Medical Transcriptionist-I don't make alot of money but I love what I do and able to spend more time with the family.
7. I wish I would have had 2 more children now that mine are growing up.
8. I am a clean/neat freak.
9. I love watching football and eating chicken wings-great way to spend the weekend.
10. Shopping is a must-I love buying for other people not just myself but thats fun too

Geez, this will be hard but I'm going to give it my best shot:

1. I was born here in Ocala at Monroe in 1965.

2. My daughter was born in the same hospital.

3. My father is also an Ocala native.

4. I am married to my highschool sweetheart. We've known each other since 5th grade at Belleview Santos.

5. I had heart bypass surgery at 40 years old.

6. I treasure every moment of every day with my daughter and husband.

7. I have become a homebody in the past year or two. It's not intentional I just don't like to leave home much.

8. When I do go someplace I enjoy watching people.

9. I wish my daughter would have more friends.

10. My favorite thing to do is go to my fathers on the lake and just listen. It's the most relaxing place I know of.

Hello Ladies! It's so fun to read your responses... So interesting. Well here goes 10 things about me...

1. I just moved here from Kansas City 3 months ago with my husband and two sons ages 4 and 18 months.

2. I am a stay at home mom and aspiring self-taught graphic artist. Would love to do this as a job some day but need training.

3. I am a dreamer and a entrepeneur. Both traits my husband doesn't appreciate or support me on.

4. I am 28 years old and have been with my husband for almost 10 years and married for almost 6.

5. I LOVE being creative and crafty. My home office is FILLED with crafts, scrap paper, glue, pipe cleaners, rubber stamps and more!

6. I LOVE to shop, and get my jollies finding a good deal. I am an avid bargain shopper and HATE to pay full price for anything!

7. I am adopted and met my birth sister, brother and mother for the first time last July.

8. I went to college for a semester to minor in the performing arts and dropped out after the first semester due to depression.

9. I love all fuzzy living creatures and have an obsession with turtles... mostly sea turtles and hope to swim with them someday. Or at least hold a baby one!

10. I am for the most part highly unorganized but sometimes have strokes of organizational genius that save the day! lol!

2. I am an only and so is my son (and he's my miracle baby).

3. I have the perfect job schedule; I work for the school board at a local high school 6 hours a day and have the same days off as my son.

4. I LOVE - LOVE - LOVE to cook (favorite room in the house is my kitchen) - and ABSOLUTELY HATE dishes.

5. I would love to meet and make friends with moms with sons the same or close age as my son (8 years old).

6. I listen to country or christian pop music.

7. I love to read and am a HUGE fan of Nora Roberts (and her other books when she writes as J. D. Robb).

8. I wish I was more crafty so that I could make my own scrapbooks and jewelry.

9. I am extremely organized and a clean freak.
