HI I am writing you for some motherly advice. I am at a lose for words...My 15 yr old step daughter who lives with me and my husband, was physically/sexually attacked and almost rapped this friday night by a 19 yr old boy. My husband and i took care of the matter by calling the sherrif and having the boy arrested. This happened at her mothers house during her routine visit. Well after everything was taken care of, my step daughter wanted to spend sunday with her boyfriend and his mother at wild waters. We did not see any thing worng with this so we let her go. Little did we know, the mother of the boyfriend wanted to have a days long disscussion with our daughter reguarding her"Dramatic" life, as the mother put it. She spent the whole day putting my step daughter down. Telling her things like she "did not have time to deal with her Dramatic life and wished she would go away and leave her son alone." She also keep insisting the because my daughter has dyed her hair red that she "was asking for someone to attack her." The whole time my step daughter is telling me this the my blood was boiling! What woman asks to be attacked? This is not the first comment this woman has made toward my daughterbut it is going to be her last. I am just floored that a woman and a mother would say this to a 15 yr old girl. I am at a lose of words...What should i say to this Obviously stupid woman?

Good grief!
Those certainly aren't nice things to say to a young teen!! I'd be roaring mad, personally.
The boyfriend isn't the one who nearly raped her, is he?
Good luck dealing w/ this! Hopefully somebody else has some more sage advise.

No! The boy friend is not the same guy. But the guy that attacked was her older sisters boyfriend. I hope someone does have some advice for me. Thanks
