Hi Moms,
As a new football season begins, I would like to get some honest reviews and insight into any of your experiences with the Marion County Youth Football League. Thank You! |

Hi,
My son played for Belleview last year and it was a mess. He was only 9 and stuck on a team with middle schoolers, the coach had never coached before and had no idea what he was doing. Being my sons first year, he sat on the bench a lot, even though all kids had to have at least 10 plays. We moved him to MCYFL this year, we are only a few weeks into practice. The coach has been coaching for 8 years and seems to know what he is doing. My son is enjoying it. We havent played any games yet, so we will see if the MCYFL actually follows the rules of all the kids get to play. I just want him to have fun and learn new skills, I mean thats what its about, having fun and building your childs self esteem, right???? |
