Hi Sandi,
I'm just a member of the Moms of Marion. I know you have 2 weeks to signup & check out the site & attend a playdate. Then you have 30 days before you have to pay your dues. This gives you plenty of time to meet others & make sure it's something for you. I think there is close to 30 Mommies as a part of the group. I can honestly tell you this is the best group of women I've ever met. Everyone is super nice & welcoming. It was a great way for me to build friendships being new to Ocala. I can tell you we have quite a few Mommies with babies right now & 4 Mommies that are all due within the next 2 months or so. As for baby playdates. Those with crawlers & under... they usually have a playdate at least once a week just for them. We also have tons of other playdates...meetups.... go out to lunch & lots of other things almost every day... Weekends tend to stay empty as most of us tend to do things with our own families. Hope this helps..... |
