People keep telling me that Old Navy is open but when I've driven by it sure doesn't look open. I read somewhere on the internet that it is opening in August. Does anyone have an idea? I can't wait!

I don't know but I'm super excited it's coming. I just wish one day we could have an Eddie Bauer and Williams-Sonoma.
And a Trader Joe or Fresh Market in Ocala. Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |

Oooooh Fresh Market would be the best! And I think it would do so well here. A few years ago (before there was a location in Gainesville)my parents used to travel to St. Augustine once a month just to shop at the Fresh Market. They actually looked into to franchise to senior execs. did not think Ocala had "the demand" for such thing.

Boo hiss to the senior execs.
I was told last year by the Gainesville store that The Villages is supposed to be getting a location sometime this year. I am assuming that if there is one there and one in Gainesville, they won't be doing one in Ocala proper anytime soon. To which I also say boo hiss. I'm not sure which is closer? I think for me where I live probably Gainesville. DD loves the blueberry cornbread there. I thought it sounded disgusting but she wolves it down. And I have never seen a prettier produce display than I have there. After I first went there, it was kinda disappointing just going back to regular ol' Publix. Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |

I feel the same as you do! They also have a lot of delicious bulk treats that are actually healthy for the little ones!
