No, this is not a premise for a new television reality show or some fringe hobby for couples with no moral compass.

I am proposing somewhat of a "swap-shop," where moms who have things they no longer need can post their items for moms who may need them.

As long as people are not posting items for sale, this could be helpful.

I know we have a new baby on the way and a toddler who keeps outgrowing his things.

So for example, we could trade 3 2T outfits for a baby bouncy seat. (I don't know if we actually have one or need the other - this is just an example)

What does everyone think about this?

I think it's a great idea! I kept all my bottles from my first (the expensive Avent brand) but threw away all the white screw on lids!! Why? I have NO idea!! haha Smiler Smiler Luckily my friend, whose second just turned 1, was done with hers and offered to give me all her lids! Whew!! Thank you sooooo much! You can't just buy the lids (the part that the nipple goes through and screws onto the bottle), so she save me lots of money! Smiler

I think this is a great idea. I know my girls are growing so fast that it's hard to keep up.

In addition to posting here, you might want to consider Ocala Freecycle. People are always posting wants and needs as well as things to offer. I got a brand new Spiderman Easter basket with tags on it last year from a freecycle lady. I've given away a ton of stuff too. The best thing is it is all FREE. No gimmicks. It is a nice way to get rid of your stuff without the hassle of Ebay or a garage sale.

I've been cleaning out closets and dressers. I have clothes I've outgrown-size 16 and some maternity. I also have 18-24 months, 2T, and some size 4-5 boys clothes. I'm in need of a white changing table or one that I could easily paint white or a tall white 5 drawer dresser instead.

I have a Graco Pooh & friends Highchair. GREAT Condition. No longer use it & it's just taking up room in your dining room.
BRAND New Unbrella Stroller ~ used 2x only, my son was just too big for it (he's just too heavy you can't even turn it with him in it.)
ANY one interested! I have a almost 5yr girl & 2 yr boy.

I tried to join Freecycle but the process seems a little difficult. I think I got through it but now I am waiting to be "Accepted" by the moderator of the Ocala group. Does anyone know how long this takes?
