So, Cooper is turning 4 at the end of May and I'm having a hard time deciding what to do about his birthday. He wants a tractor party (same as last year Smiler)

This was his first year in school and he has a good size group of friends, plus all of our family.

I was originally going to have a party at our house (outside), but I'm already stressing out about the weather in FL and would like to look into some indoor birthday locations.

If anyone has any advice, I would LOVE to hear it!

I heard Palomino Play is great. I went there recently for an event and we loved the gym..
Contact Donna, she owns the gym.

Balcony is closed for the weekend we need it and spoke with Palomino today and they are closing down due to lack of business. I'm dying here! Has anyone done one at Easy Street? I haven't ever been there before, but it was suggested to me by someone.

Have you thought of Chuck E. Cheese's on 200?

There are also many pony party locations in Ocala. Here's one:www.funtimeponyparties.com/.

Both Silver River Park and Carney Island Park are fun for parties and you can reserve a pavilion. They both have great playgrounds and Carney Island has two beaches one on Lake Weir and one on Little Lake Weir.

Uncle Donald's Farm & petting zoo also has picnic tables for parties and they are located in Lady Lake.

Good luck with your party! Smiler

What a bummer w/r/t Palomino Play! A lot of people on here liked them!! I still have yet to go. Frowner

Carney Island would be nice!

And Coehad Joe might? It's the closest park to me and seems pretty quiet and nice and shady. Or even Silver River?

Oh. N/m. Just remembered you wanted indoors.

If your friends are willing to travel a little bit, I know O2B Kids in Gville, right off the interstate, is popular, too.

And Easy Street I have heard good things about, too.

G/l!

Thanks for your ideas. We visited Easy Street today and it looks promising. The only thing that worries me is the amount of big kids that might be there on a Saturday.

I'll have to check w/ O2B...also considering bowling and movie theater. Something will work out...I could always break down and have it at my house if I had to. That would prob. be the cheapest bet!

Thanks again!

I went to Palomino Play to see Mr. Richards. He is a musician who sings songs that are interactive with the kids -- he's hilarious and the kids really enjoyed it. I was thinking about hiring him when my little man gets older. We can't wait to get our son a guitar & when he's old enough we'll make it a musical theme...You could hire him and then have the party at your house. His website mrrichard.net

Sorry don't know the prices! Hope they get back to you soon.

I have seen Mr Richard also and he is great. His website mentioned above in a post gives you contact info as well. He is also on myspace.

I did think of one more thng. Some of the dance studios in Ocala have parties. I think it might be A Step Above Dance Studio. But not sure about if that is one?

Wow Sky! You are full of information. Thanks for all of your help. I think we're going to skip Easy Street, for sure. I'm just too worried about the big kids!
