What is the etiquette for giving a gift to a hostess that is throwing your shower? I don't remember gtting anything myself for the few I have been involved in but that really doesn't mean anything.
The part to this question is what if there are multiple peopel involved. My BFF is throwing a party for me in her house, but I noticed on the invites she included a few other gal pals as the hostesses. Not looking to spend a small fortune. I have baby coming after all! LOL Big Grin

I don't think you're supposed to buy ANY hostess gift for a shower. Their gift is to watch you get everything you need for baby ...

OK -- I found this site today. It still doesn't answer your question but thought I'd share it anyway. Smiler

I don't agree! I think you should definitely buy hostess gifts! I've thrown many baby showers and it takes alot of work. A hostess gift should just be alittle something to say "Thank you." Yummy candles are great gifts. Smiler
