What did you (or are planning to do) for your DC's first birthday party?
Just family or a slightly larger group?
Activities?

I made a video of pictures from my DD's first year using Photoshop AND I found the perfect song for it. Don't remember how I heard it (maybe someone else's video on You Tube?) but it was Baby Girl by Will Hoge. I'd never heard of him before.

The kidlets used paint markers to decorate clay pots and then we helped them plant sunflower seeds. (Yes, the adults enjoyed this part!)
