Where do you usually find the best deals for back-to-school clothes shopping? (or other supplies.) Those lists are long so I can only imagine how much they cost to fulfill!! (I used to type a bunch of lists for grades for schools for back-to-school issues and remember my hands hurting after awhile.)

I printed a supply list off our (elementary) school's website. Now, when I'm out shopping @ Wal-Mart, Target, Publix, I see what's on sale there and purchase, then mark it off my list. Saves the big punch when I would have to purchase everything at once.
The oldest is in high school, so we'll get his list the first couple of days of school, which is really a pain. |

I look around every year. It seems walmart is usually the cheapest.

For back to school clothes we usually get our kids stuff at Bealls on East SR 40. I have found that their sales are like WalMarts prices on clothes with out all the people. They also have great deals on there shoes selection. We also check out Shoe Carnival on Easy Street in Ocala.
I love going to Kohls they seem to have some really AWESOME sales. The Kohls that I really liked (just incase any of you head out of town) is on 27 going towards Lake Wales. That was the best place LOTS OF SALES. My husband has to work out of town and when we passed it coming home we checked it out & it was great!!! |

I just bought everything on my Kdg list at Walmart and spent about $24 for supplies. I used a gift card from Christmas that I'd forgotten about so that helped.
Can't help you with clothing ideas cause my little one has to wear a uniform and from specific places. BUT I did see a Kohl's in the Villages and they are reasonable. I think we have one slated to come to Ocala across from Sam's Wholesale. But I'm not sure if they've even broken ground yet. Don't forget Beall's Outlet too. Friday is cheaper there for Non-seniors (55 and under). If you have little ones to outfit, check out consignment stores too. Repeat Street next to Bealls, one on the S curve where Kinsman used to be, and Serendipity(not sure the location). Hope this was helpful. Oh, I was a former teacher too. So I always buy 2 of the school supply items that I know will run out before school lets out in June. For example, crayons, pencils, glue, etc. That way I can provide my kiddo with new stuff in January. Actually, they make great stocking stuffers to start the 2nd half off right. |

I can usually find some really good deals in TJ Max in the villages. The 13 yr old can get those designer jeans w/o killen me. Also she HAS to have the pretty bras and panties....(what girl doesn't) and we can find her some for 2-5 dollars. You just have to dig through the racks. But it's all new name brand stuff. And when shopping for a teen thats is all important...lol.
