This sounds like this is going to be a good story -- about a mock game show to help kids deal w/ bullying:

This is tough, because bullying comes in different forms and I think sometimes kids are kidding and don't realize they're bullying, but they are. Once kids are in public school, there's a no-tolerance policy in the district. But it's something parents have to be watching out for, and making sure any incidents are reported to school officials. Any questions about the policy can be directed to Dan Geer with the school system - 671-7700. It's sometimes difficult to draw the line between kidding and bullying, but when children are in higher elementary grades I think the distinction needs to be clearly made (before middle school start) and sometimes that has to be done by parents. I prefer kids work things out for themselves, so that would be my first choice but if there's a situation that warrents a mom stepping in, I will.
