Crayons® ( http://drinkcrayons.com/ ) All Natural Beverage Company announces the "Pink Lemonade Brigade," a nation-wide lemonade stand fund raiser, empowering kids to support a charity, be artistic and be heard. The one-day event on Saturday, June 21, 2008 will unite children across America and raise funds for an array of philanthropic causes. The kid-empowering "Pink Lemonade Brigade" was created in order to encourage youth to experience the benefits of giving back to their community while providing the tools necessary to raise more than $100,000 for charities across the country.

Three year old Rory Fernandez of Ocala, FL. is honored to be 1 of 1000 kids across the nation to be given this wonderful opportunity along with the help of some very special friends. Olivia, Santino and Ben came together to decorate the lemonade stand which was supplied by the Crayons® Corporation. Rory, who is diagnosed on the spectrum, will be raising funds for Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks is dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and cure for autism; and raising public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society; and to bringing hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder.

Easy Street Family Fun Center has graciously agreed to allow the Pink Lemonade Brigade to set up at their establishment conveniently located on S.W. 27th Ave. across from Walmart in Ocala. Easy Street is Ocala's favorite fun spot. The Pink Lemonade Brigade will begin at 11 am. Their goal is to sell 100 cans of Crayons® but will also be accepting donations on behalf of Autism Speaks.

You will be able to purchase Crayons® Tickled Pink Lemonade for $1. Crayons® fruit juice drinks come in a recyclable can, and are packed with vitamins, antioxidants, calcium, and 3 grams of fiber per 8 ounce serving. They also contain 30% less sugar (no high fructose corn syrup) and only 90 calories per serving – 25% fewer calories than most other juice drinks. SugarGuard™, the company's proprietary blend of ingredients, helps moderate the sugar spikes and negative cravings associated with sugar imbalance, making Crayons® the first line of beverages to provide All Natural Protection From Sugar's Ups & Downs™. In March 2008, Crayons® launched the first line of all-natural sports drinks specifically designed for kids, without high fructose corn syrup and dyes. All proceeds will go to Autism Speaks.

If you are unable to to stop by but still wish to donate, you can do so via a website that was created to document Rory and his families personal experience with Autism. http://www.ScarletRules.us/lemonadebrigade.htm . All proceeds made through this website will also benefit Autism Speaks.
