OK -- so we had lots of fun at the one last weekend.
Anyone interested in another? Ideas as to where to have it? Somebody mentioned the shopping MNO thing but I forget who that is through?! So, here's a poll for which days would work better for you. If you can, leave a post w/ what you'd be interested in doing! A couple of thoughts -- Starbucks. Blaze Under Fire (I think is the name -- the decorate-your-own pottery place.) Movies. Primary Oven. The wine gallery (blanking on the name now.) Or maybe we could all go get pedicures or something. I keep thinking DT area or main Ocala area b/c we had people coming from different parts of this ginormous county. Just some ideas.... What are yours? Elizabeth Mommy to Jodi (4/17/06) |

Thursday is a guess for me. My hubby's schedule changes weekly and my babysitter (my parents) are out of town for a few weeks.
I think the pottery place sounds fun. I've always wanted to do that. There's a lot of good movies out right now, too. Not as much of a chance for conversation, though. Erin OcalaMom.com Moderator Mom to Cooper and Elizabeth |

I agree w/r/t the movies -- though I haven't been in, oh, 4 years? I hate sitting still in the theater and would prefer to multi-task and watch a video at home. DH hates that, lol, and has gone to see some movies in the theater sans moi.

Friday or Saturday nights work for me. And I don't care what we do as a group. I just need a night out!

Friday and Saturday nights work best for me. I like all the ideas. I believe it was Robin who suggested the shopping night, when Ocala sponsors it. Can't wait!

I think weeknights might work better for me, but an occasional Friday or Saturday night is fine, too.

Week nights are great for me. The GNO downtown is a monthly event, I believe, and it is hosted by a number of really cool shops. You get a wristband and visit the various locations for a prize at the end. I've been wanting to try it, anyone else?

I haven't been to this site for a while, but I'm glad I checked it out again now. I would love to go on a MNO. I don't care what we do...just a night out would be great! Most nights can work for me as long as my husband is home from work!

OK -- so it seems like the pottery place is a pretty popular idea so far. I'm going to make some calls soon and see about setting up another one!
