I have to agree with the recommendation for Dr. Saha. We moved to Ocala when my son was 6 months old and didn't know a soul from Adam. When I started calling around to various peds, Ocala Pediatrics wanted to charge me an office visit!! All I wanted was to make sure their DRs didn't get their licenses from KMart's blue light special!!! Dr. Saha said he actually wished more parents would interview peds when they're thinking about switching DRs to make sure their selecting the right DR for their family (or in our case, when we didn't know anyone). On a personal note, Dr. Saha has also been very proactive with my son's asthma to make sure its controlled and maintained.

Good luck with your search. Smiler

Dr. Qamar... love her & everyone we know goes to her. Even when she was out of the country on vacation she called to check on our little boy... who was very sick when she left. We switched to her after being highly referred by many of our friends from Ocala Peds.... very bad experience there...

Good Luck in your search in finding the right Dr. for you & your little one.

I have been dealing with Ocala Peds for the past 5 1/2 years and love them. Dr. Susan Kerns is our primary and I love her and her group of nurses. I have only had one bad experience there with another doctor that was on call during the weekend. No one can beat their weekend hours and how the nurses call you back in the same day and you can always talk to a Doctor with their after hours line. I would never visit another ped. in town. I can understand everyone at Ocala Peds and they don't make us wait hours just for a check up. I have never been in their office over an hour.
