Hi there, I'm not a mommy, but I am a sitter and a big sister. I do find that word of mouth tends to work out better. I mean ads and things of that nature can be reliable, but when it comes to your children, the assurance of someone who has entrusted this person or establishment with their own child is much more comforting.
I was wondering, Aquia, if you were available to babysit. I have a newborn that i need care for only a few days a week no weekends from 7:00-5:30. If you can or if you no anyone let me know. Thanks
Good Morning. We just opened a brand new childcare faciliy in Cala Hills which is directly off of Easy St. Please come by and check us out. It is a very clean, beautiful center. We currently have openings for all ages. Thank you and hope to see you soon. Denise Jones Director of Kids Kampus

Kids Kampus, please give me a phone number so I can call to find out more information. I need a place to take my 7 y.o. twice a week, for 10 hours (we are on a 10 hr day work week during the summer). Thanks so much! You'd be on the way to work!
shardy.....good luck, I went by the new location about a month or so ago and left my information, never got a call. I don't know that I feel comfortable with an establishment that doesn't follow-up.
I am a stay at home mom with a 3 year old son, who is willing to babysitt. I perfer nights or weekends though. If anyone needs a sitter just let me know.
Thanks. I contact them yesterday after I saw the phone number in another discussion, and Denise was very pleasant. I'm sure they just have some kinks to get out since it's still so new. I would call again since they're getting a little more settled now.
Hi everyone. My husband and I recently moved to Ocala and I am looking to babysit/nanny. I've watched kids for almost 12 years and after graduating from UF, I worked in a museum creating children programs. It's been hard meeting families being new to Ocala, so please e-mail me at Daisymaycat@aol.com if you need someone. I can provide plently of refereces and can start immediatly!
My name is Ms Missy and I nanny for the best family in Ocala.. I have a sister in her thirty's who worked for me,(after her home daycare closed)when I had my own daycare who is looking for a nanny job even a few days a week till school starts or what ever can be worked out. I highly reccomend her, she is great with children (over twelve years experience) and even sits for me when I have appts. Her name is Rose Johnson and her cell is 572-7363 (leave message)
Up until now...my family are the only ones that I have allowed to keep my children. My parents live near us and have always been available to watch our kids. However, they are currently looking at property in TN, which means my babysitters will prob. be leaving pretty soon.
I am at a loss. The first thing that makes finding a babysitter difficult is that we live out in the boonies. It's a good 25min. drive to our house from Ocala. With gas prices the way they are, I think it will be difficult to get someone to drive out here. Also, Im not really comfortable w/ a teenager watching them b/c we are so far away from "help".
Secondly, I'm just now sure how to feel o.k. w/ letting a total stranger keep my kids.
My hubby and I would like to use a babysitter every once in a while, but I just don't know if I'M ready for the whole experience.
